Trying to find your way through the writing maze:

·       As you’re reading highlight, underline, make notes on each resource.

·       Organize your notes in a notebook

·       Use sticky notes on pages that you might need to quote

·       Make a graphic organizer using the information

·       Make a free flowing map of ideas to cover in your writing

·       Make an outline

·       Begin writing and let ideas just be free flowing, let the document grow.

·       Make yourself sit down-putting your seat in the chair to read, write, think.

·       Exercise-walk, think, talk with someone

·       Bounce ideas off someone you can talk to.

·       Read, read, read

·       Save all of your ideas until you are SURE you are finished.
